Dear Gabe, I know that your life was so beautiful and precious that God needed you in heaven instead with us on earth. Your parents are such amazing people that I know you have grown up in the best loving home. I think of you so often? this weekend is hard especially hard, one day we will rejoice in heaven with you and Jesus. Love you sweet boy Aunt Suryia &Uncle Travis

Angel-baby, Gabe... The love your mommy and daddy have for you, having never been able to experience so many of the moments in this life that help us fall in love with another, is remarkable. It is as if they know you, they have shared a lifetime with you, even in the few months that you found safe harbor in your mommyโ€™s womb. I know you are so proud, Gabe, looking down from Heaven, at the vulnerability and transparency your parents have shown to the world, all the while giving glory to God the Father. Though they grieve, and we all do with them, they rejoice in the fact that you are with Jesus, face to face. You didnโ€™t have to experience the hardships of this world, you tell straight into Jesusโ€™ arms, from one safe secure place into another for all eternity. Your life lived in the shelter of your mother was too short, yes, but it was a life worth so much and had brought so many souls closer to Him. You will never be forgotten, sweet baby Gabe. We donโ€™t know why Jesus needed you when He did but we continue to trust and praise Him even in the unknown. Thank you, Shay & Adam, for sharing Gabe with all of us! Hugs and kisses and prayers always!

There are no words I can write, none I can say, there is nothing I can do to ease your pain my sweet friends. You are always in my thoughts. I am so sorry we are not closer so we could spend days together. We love and miss all of you. โ™ก

Baby Gabe, your Uncle Kevin and I would be meeting you next month, had things gone the way โ€˜weโ€™ planned. My heart breaks for your Mother, Father and siblings. You, unlike all of us, can rest easy in Gods arms and feel no pain of this world. We pray daily for your family and love them all so much. ? Matthew 11:28- โ€œCome to me, all you who are wear and burdened, and I will give you rest.โ€

My son... There's not a single day goes by that I don't think of you. Especially now, nearing the day I should have held you. -Dad

My brother and beautiful sister in lawโ€ฆ.How I wish I could express the right words to say. Words cannot express what the heart truly feels nor would any amount of words be enough. How truly and deeply loved Gabe is and such a wonderful gift. God sure knows how to choose the most loving parents. Even though the time with him may have been short, his life will bless many that will last a lifetime. Gabe you have touched my heart in so many ways that I feel so very undeserving. What ever Gods plans for you are, I know to be bigger than we can understand. We love you Gabe. May the world know your name and what a blessing you are to us all.

Sweet Gabe, though your time here with us was short, it did not lack impact. Your sweet name is known all over the world by people your parents havenโ€™t even met. Your life was important, it mattered, and you have left your fingerprints on so many hearts. You are incredibly loved Gabriel Potter. Lord you hear the cries of your people, you do not hide your face. You comfort and bring a peace that canโ€™t be expressed or explained. You meet us in our tears, and you are the lifter of our heads. There has never been a moment in history where the darkness has defeated the light, and so we know that even if tears and sorrow find us, light is coming. I pray the potterโ€™s feel the tangible shift in the atmosphere that only your presence can bring. That your comfort lay over them like a blanket, and your Spirit secure them in hope. You are good, You are always good. Your character never changes, you are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow because of who you are we find rest in you, and we find security in your promises, hope for the future. We will praise you as long as we have breath. In Jesus name, Amen!
